Need coffee? Just think about it

Fudan University unveiled an AI-powered robot that allows people to order coffee simply by imagining it at the 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai on July 7.
Called Xiao Fu, the robot can "read minds" via an EEG device that detects brain activity. It is also capable of processing voice commands using its dialogue-based language model MOSS as well as brewing the coffee and delivering it to customers.
"Through software encapsulation and intelligent programming of various service robot capabilities, we can achieve new intelligent scenarios that integrate humans, machines, and objects," said Peng Xin, Vice Dean of Fudan University's School of Computer Scienceand the leader of the robot project.
