A man who drove a car into pedestrians, killing two people and injuring seven others, has been detained in Gaoyou, Jiangsu province.
Police said the accident took place at the Dongting Lake Road in the city's economic development zone around 8 pm on Sunday, when many people were taking a walk after dinner.
The man surnamed Zou, 25, has been detained and the case is under investigation, according to the police's WeChat account.
