Chinese Music Tutorial: 'Plum Blossom' on 'Sanxian'

The "sanxian" (three-stringed Chinese lute) repertoire "Plum Blossom" is inspired by the elements of the Plum Blossom Tune - a typical type of drum music in northern China, and represents the traditional art of story-telling in the form of folk music.

In this episode of Chinese Music Tutorial, CNODDT musician Wang Peipei creates a brisk imagery of the capital in ancient times with the traditional Chinese plucked instrument.
