President Xi emphasizes China's readiness to strength relationship with Tajikistan

President Xi Jinping on Thursday underlined China's readiness to work together with Tajikistan in enhancing the level of cooperation over various sectors and promote the building of a community with a shared future defined by lasting friendship, solidarity and mutual benefit.
In talks with visiting Tajik President Emomali Rahmon in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, Xi noted that bilateral relations are built on a profound historical background, solid political foundation, rich content of cooperation and widespread public support.
He pointed out that the efforts between both sides in building a community of common development and security have seen "encouraging progress" over the past four years.
