The China Coast Guard saw success in its campaign to crack down on drug-related crimes — particularly smuggling — at sea last year, the Coast Guard said on Wednesday.
In 2022, a total of 1.12 metric tons of drugs and 1.2 tons of drug-producing materials were seized, it said. In addition, three large drug gangs were busted and 37 suspects were arrested.
