ShanghaiRanking releases global ranking of sport science schools

Academic consultancy ShanghaiRanking released on Thursday its Global Ranking of Sport Science Schools and Departments.

Deakin University from Australia is ranked the first place in the world, followed by Norwegian School of Sport Sciences from Norway and University of Copenhagen from Denmark.

Seven universities from the Chinese mainland are included in the list, and Shanghai University of Sport enters the global top 50 for the first time.

Among the top 300 in this year's list, 14 universities are sports universities. The full list can be viewed on ShanghaiRanking's official website www.shanghairanking.com.
