5.1-magnitude quake hits Xinjiang: CENC

BEIJING -- A 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted Bachu county of Kashgar prefecture in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region at 4:54 pm Sunday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 17 km, was monitored at 39.42 degrees north latitude and 78.13 degrees east longitude, said the CENC.
