5.7-magnitude quake hits Taiwan: CENC

BEIJING -- A 5.7-magnitude earthquake hit eastern Taiwan's Taitung county at 1:19 pm Sunday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 23.09 degrees north latitude and 121.27 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 12 km, the CENC said.
