The "100 Reasons to Love Beijing" short-video contest was launched in Beijing on Thursday.
The contest, hosted by the Information Office of Beijing Municipality, aims to encourage global netizens to tell stories about the capital city from their perspectives.
The contest has been held annually since 2020. It received nearly 5,000 short videos and attracted more than 3,000 international contestants in the first two years, said Xu Hejian, director of the Information Office of Beijing Municipality.
This year contest carries the theme of diversity, youth and vitality.
The authorities hope the contest will encourage the public to express their love toward Beijing and thus have more people get good a measure of the city's charm.
Contestants can submit their works to lovebeijing2022@163.com by the end of this year.
