Tangshan woman struck, killed by boyfriend's car

A woman in Tangshan, North China's Hebei province, was killed around noon on Tuesday after she was struck by a car driven by her boyfriend, according to a statement by a branch of Tangshan's public security bureau on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in front of a swimming hall in the city's Guye district.
The suspect, surnamed Zhang, fled from the site afterwards. He was then captured in the afternoon.
The woman, surnamed Wang, died after resuscitation efforts at a local hospital.
Further investigation is underway, the statement said.
