Typhoon Dolphin makes landfall in Yuhuan, Zhejiang

Typhoon Dolphin made landfall in East China's Zhejiang province at around 5:30 pm on Sunday.

Dolphin, the 13th typhoon of the year, came ashore in Kanmen street as a strong typhoon, packing maximum winds of 42 meters per second near its center, according to the National Meteorological Center.

Dolphin's impact is expected to continue well after landfall. From Sunday to Monday, heavy rainfall is expected mainly in areas south of the Yellow and Huaihe rivers, including parts of Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, Henan and Shandong.

The center of Typhoon Dolphin made a second landfall in Yueqing, Zhejiang province.
