Beijing official removed from position

Yu Luming, born in 1961, was removed from his position as director of the Beijing Health Commission, the Standing Committee of the 15th Beijing Municipal People's Congress announced on Wednesday.
On the same day, the 13th Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference's Standing Committee decided to remove Yu from the post of vice-chairman of the committee and revoke his membership, due to alleged serious violation of discipline and law.
Previously, the State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said Yu was suspected of serious violations.
