One person was killed and five were injured on Tuesday evening after a gas explosion in Changzhou, Jiangsu province.
The explosion happened at a two-story residential building in the city's Wujin district. Of the injured, two were seriously hurt. All the injured have been sent to hospital for treatment, according to the Wujin government.
A preliminary investigation found improper use of bottled liquefied gas caused a leak, which later led to the explosion. Further investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
