East China's Jiangxi province boasts rich natural and cultural resources. More than 60 percent of its land is covered by forest.

Lushan Mountain is a UNESCO world cultural heritage site, and Sanqing Mountain a world natural heritage site. More than 2,400 rivers converge to form Poyang Lake, the largest freshwater lake in China.

Other famous tourist destinations include Jingdezhen, the "capital of Chinese porcelain", and Jinggangshan, the cradle of the Chinese revolution.
