Shanghai reports 139 new COVID-19 infections

Shanghai reported 139 new locally transmitted COVID-19 infections on Tuesday, 130 of whom were asymptomatic.

Health authorities said that 107 individuals tested positive during quarantine while the rest were identified during testing of people with potential exposure.

The city also reported 15 imported cases on Tuesday, three of whom were asymptomatic. 

The city currently has 671 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment in hospital, and 933 asymptomatic cases under quarantine.
