COVID-19 tally in Shanghai continues to rise

Shanghai reported four new locally transmitted COVID-19 confirmed cases and 51 asymptomatic cases on Monday, the municipal government announced on Tuesday.

All of the cases tested positive during hotel quarantine, according to the municipal health authority.

A total of 237 close contacts have been placed in quarantine.

Also, 36 imported confirmed cases were reported in Shanghai on Monday.
