Landmark building lights up for China-Mexico ties

A landmark building in Hefei, Anhui province, was illuminated in a show celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Mexico on Monday night.
At 7 pm, the Anhui Radio and Television building began alternately changing to green, white and red, the main colors of the Mexican national flag.
A similar light show took place simultaneously in the city of Merida in the Mexican state of Yucatan.
Anhui and Yucatan established friendship province and state relations in 2014, according to the Anhui provincial government’s foreign affairs office.
