OCT launches Spring Festival activities

Domestic theme park player Overseas Chinese Town has rolled out fun programs at its operations across the country for the upcoming Spring Festival holiday.

The programs cover a wide range of elements, including intangible culture heritage and street art.

Lion dancing, high-tech lighting shows will be featured at the Happy Valley in Shenzhen of Guangdong province, while circus performances will be held at Happy Valley in Chongqing.

Themed lighting shows featuring Sanxingdui and the Chinese Zodiac will meet the public at Happy Valley in Beijing, while folk music ceremony and intangible cultural heritage temple fair will be held at the theme park in Shanghai.

Visitors can try out papercut and sugar painting at Shunde OCT Harbor Plus in Guangdong province. They can also get close with nature on camping and fishing sites in a countryside setting at OCT Gulou Waterfront Eco-Cultural Tourism Resort in Jiangmen of Guangdong province.

Other Spring Festival activities are also available at the OCT operations in Jinan of Shandong province, Shenyang of Liaoning province, Dali of Yunnan province and Chengdu of Sichuan province.
