Xi: China will prioritize ASEAN in neighborhood diplomacy

China has been and will forever be good neighbors, good friends and good partners with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, President Xi Jinping said on Monday.

Speaking at a virtual summit commemorating the 30th anniversary of their dialogue relations, Xi said China will unwaveringly see the ASEAN as a priority in its neighborhood diplomacy, support its centrality in the regional framework and support the bloc in playing a greater role in regional and international affairs.
