China's civil service to open over 31,000 vacancies
BEIJING -- China plans to recruit 31,200 civil servants to work for 75 central agencies and 23 institutions directly attached to them in the 2022 civil servant intake, the State Administration of Civil Service announced Thursday.
Applications will be accepted online from Oct 15 to 24, with positions to be posted on authorized websites, the administration said.
Candidates will need to take a national written exam, which is scheduled to be held on Nov 28 across the country.
The recruitment offers more vacancies than the 25,700 last year.
A total of 21,000 positions will be exclusively open for this year's university graduates to boost the employment of this key demographic.
More than 2,800 vacancies will be open only to those working on select primary-level projects, as well as veterans who have served for a minimum of five years after graduating from colleges.
Certain requirements, such as test scores and work experience, will be lowered for those applying for more than 8,700 positions in western or remote poor areas.
