With the help of Edgar Snow, American cardiologist E. Grey Diamond and his wife travelled to China in September 1971, almost half year before then-US President Richard Nixon visited China in what he called, "the week that changed the world". The couple also founded the Edgar Snow Memorial Foundation to make sure that Snow's memory is honored, and his cause continued.
