Documentary follows China’s path of ethnic unity
A documentary series on how people from different ethnic groups in China work together to achieve common prosperity has been airing since Tuesday.
The four-part series shows the achievements of ethnic unity over the years in four aspects: the historical path, working together for common prosperity, strengthening unity among different ethnic groups and realizing the dream of national rejuvenation together.
Audiences will see stories of how people from different ethnic groups have bonded, communicated and integrated with each other while having a strong recognition of their shared national identity. Furthermore, they will learn about people's strong determination and great confidence in realizing national rejuvenation no matter which ethnic group they are from.
The stories in the documentary series were carefully selected, with scenes showcasing different ethic cultures. A large amount of historical archival footage is used in the series, jointly produced by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, the National Ethnic Affairs Commission and China Media Group.
