Dialogue with Isabel Crook: Centenarian on CPC's first century

Canadian Isabel Crook is the honorary chairwoman of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) and an old friend of the Chinese people.
She is 105 years old and has spent most of her life in China.
She has witnessed the birth of the New China and how the Communist Party of China led the Chinese people to build a socialist country.
She is also a pioneer in the country's English education.
In 2019 she was awarded the "Friendship Medal", the nation's highest honor for foreigners.
In a recent interview with China Daily website, Isabel's son Michael spoke in her place as she was recovering from an illness.
