China, CEEC lead synergy in Belt and Road

China and Central and Eastern European countries have diversified their ways of thinking and embarked on piloting, as they have taken the lead in exploring the synergy between cross-region cooperation and the Belt and Road Initiative, President Xi Jinping said.

Xi made the remark when delivering a keynote speech at the China-Central and Eastern European Countries Summit via video link in Beijing on Tuesday.

Also, China and Central and Eastern European countries have taken the lead in realizing the full coverage of the Belt and Road Initiative cooperation agreement in the region, Xi added.
