Stomach surgery helps man lose weight — a lot of it

The surgery helped Zhang feel less hungry as his stomach was smaller. He was able to take a liquid diet and walk just three days after the operation. He has now been discharged from the hospital.

"I have become much thinner now," Zhang said, adding his next goal was to lose 90 kg.

"I will work hard to achieve the goal, so that I can try the roller coaster in an amusement park, and I will find a girlfriend."
