Chinese mainland reports 14 new imported COVID-19 cases

BEIJING -- The Chinese mainland reported 14 new imported COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 4,049.
Five new imported cases were reported in Sichuan, four in Inner Mongolia, three in Shanghai, and one each in Beijing and Guangdong, the National Health Commission said in its daily report Tuesday.
Among all the imported cases, 3,787 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery while 262 remained hospitalized, the commission said.
No deaths had been reported among the imported cases.
