Foreign-funded firms tell stories of poverty alleviation with seal carving

Some foreign-funded enterprises shared their stories of poverty alleviation with seal carving in Beijing on Tuesday.

As part of the Chinese Seal Carving 2020 –The exhibition on the Art of Seal Carving of Poverty Alleviation Campaign and Building A Moderately Prosperous, the event was held by China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment and China World Trade Center.

Zhang Ziyun, director at Ronald McDonald House Charities of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, shared how their foundation has provided accommodation for children in poor areas who go to other places for medical treatment.

Visa (China) and Herbalife (China) and others also shared their stories including collaborating with Red Cross Society of China to provide online training for doctors in villages and investing in improving village clinics.
