Beijing reports new imported coronavirus case

A single imported coronavirus infection was confirmed on Monday, the Beijing Health Commission said on Tuesday.
No other case was reported.
The new infection, found in a 27-year-old female, arrived in Beijing recently from Jordan via Turkey and Denmark. The woman had a fever and headache on Oct 14 during her quarantine. Test results for active virus were negative multiple times, but she tested positive for novel coronavirus antibodies.
On Monday, the woman was confirmed with COVID-19 after a positive test result. She was taken to Ditan Hospital for medical treatment, and all her close contacts on the flight to Beijing were taken to hotels for quarantine.
