Carrie Lam visits temporary air-inflated laboratories
HONG KONG – Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor visited temporary air-inflated laboratories at Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park Sports Centre Wednesday to learn more about their operation.
It is the second time Lam visited the laboratories. Last month she visited the facilities when they were ready.
She met members of the mainland nucleic acid test support team working there and thanked them for their support for the universal testing program.
"Members of the public who took part in the Universal Community Testing Programme (UCTP) were very satisfied with the program arrangements. Besides the healthcare personnel and staff members of the community testing centers, testing personnel of the laboratories, in particular members of the mainland nucleic acid test support team, and personnel responsible for logistics are heroes behind the scenes,” Lam said.
