Carrie Lam visits temporary air-inflated laboratories

She said members of the public received their test results in a timely manner thanks to the team’s hard work day and night.

Noting that the center also took part in the research, development and production of electronic wristbands for the government’s home quarantine measures, Lam praised the team for its contributions to Hong Kong’s anti-epidemic work.

The government has decided to extend the free testing program for three days to Sept 14 after reviewing the public's demand for the service.

As of 8:30 am Thursday, 1.42 million people have been tested in the voluntary program, which started on Sept 1.
