HONG KONG - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 11 km NNW of Ojiya, Japan at 03:06:34 GMT on Thursday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 177.42 km, was initially determined to be at 37.3899 degrees north latitude and 138.7273 degrees east longitude.
