Senior provincial political advisor under investigation

BEIJING -- A senior political advisor in South China's Hainan province is being investigated for suspected serious violations of Party disciplinary rules and laws, according to the top anti-graft body Monday.
Wang Yong, vice-chairman of the Hainan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, is being investigated by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.

Liu Guoqiang, a former vice-chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, is being investigated by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and the National Supervisory Commission.
