FUZHOU -- Wang Ning was appointed acting governor of east China's Fujian Province on Thursday.
Wang was also appointed deputy governor of Fujian.
The 20th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th Fujian Provincial People's Congress, the local legislature, accepted the resignation of Tang Dengjie as Fujian's governor.
