CHENGDU -- Southwest China's Sichuan province plans to lift 90,000 people out of poverty in 2020 by developing its agricultural sectors, local authorities said on Tuesday.
Sichuan will support the development of competitive agricultural industries and accelerate the construction of agricultural industrial parks and agricultural infrastructure to help more people cast off poverty this year.
The province has 200,000 impoverished people in seven poverty-stricken counties and 300 villages.
