Xi delivers speech at gathering marking Macao's 20th return anniversary

MACAO -- President Xi Jinping delivered a speech on Friday at a gathering in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland.
President Xi Jinping extended cordial greetings to all the Macao residents on behalf of the central government and people of all ethnic groups in the country.
Xi extended warm congratulations to Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Chief Executive Ho Iat-seng and principal officials of the SAR government who were newly sworn in.
He thanked compatriots at home and abroad and foreign friends for caring for and supporting Macao's development.
