Miss Tourism World contestants debut in Shandong

Contestants from 67 countries and regions participating in the Miss Tourism World 2019 Global Finals made their formal debut on Friday evening in Qingdao, East China's Shandong province.
Local government considers the event an opportunity to promote the city's unique culture and tourism resources and raise the city's international profile.
A series of themed activities kicked off Sept 22 and will run through Oct 6. For the event, contestants have filmed promotional videos in several places in the coastal city, including unique scenic areas and focusing on intangible culture heritages.
