Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor is expected to have direct dialogue with residents as she pledged to meet the people of Hong Kong with her bureau chiefs.
Lam said preparations for a dialogue platform aimed at bringing the city out of the current political impasse are under way.
The platform will include not only young people, but people from all walks of life, Lam said.
She called on the people of Hong Kong to do their utmost to end the antagonism in society so that such a platform can be established.
At a press conference Tuesday morning, Lam said the top priority of the SAR government now is to end the violence through law enforcement, including arrests by police and independent prosecutions by the Department of Justice.
