6 killed, 7 injured in traffic accident in East China

NANJING - A traffic accident killed six people and injured seven others in East China's Jiangsu province Thursday, according to local police.
The accident occurred at about 4:40 am when a truck rear-ended another and collided with a minivan on a section of the Beijing-Shanghai expressway in the city of Taizhou, local police said.
The treatment of the injured, rescue efforts and further investigation are underway.
