The Chinese mainland showcased what it has to offer at an international tourism exhibition in Hong Kong on June 13.
Classic tourism routes and intangible culture heritage performances from Shanghai as well as Shandong and Guangdong provinces were unveiled to appeal to Hong Kong travelers.
The promotion, hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, aimed to boost culture and tourism exchanges between the mainland and the special administration region.
This year's promotion would give Hong Kong travelers more choices in study, leisure and culture tours, says Man Hongwei, a senior official with the ministry's Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan office.
