Fantastic fusion

Japanese barbecue restaurant Gyu Testu is collaborating with popular Mexican eatery Q Mex to bring crossover dishes to both restaurants until June 15. A Mexican-style waygu skirt steak is presented at Gyu Testu - a recipe devised by chefs Shioyama Shimpei and Marcus Medina. The beef is marinated with pineapple, red guajillo chili, apple vinegar, garlic and onions, and is served with a side of miso paste. The spice of the Mexican chilis and the Japanese grilled beef combine well.
