China's northernmost city turns hot water into ice

On Dec 22, the first day of Winter Solstice, the lowest temperature hit around -40 C in China's northernmost city Mohe. More than 1,000 residents and tourists got together to experience hot water instantly turning into ice mist the moment it was tossed from a pot. [Video provided to chinadaily.com.cn]
