Plant explosion kills 6, wounds 7

An explosion at a chemical fertilizer plant in Xinle city, North China's Hebei province, has left six dead and seven injured after it occurred on Wednesday.
A tail gas furnace at the Hebei Jinwantai Chemical Fertilizer LLC exploded at about 3:10 pm, according to a statement on Weibo by a local publicity department.
It said six people were killed by the blast, two seriously injured and five slightly wounded.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
