President Xi Jinping's speech shows the strength of China's economy and gives confidence to foreign investors.
What President Xi said gave me a lot of confidence. When you are strong you are open, and when you are weak you are closed.
The part of his speech that China is an ocean, not a lake, where there are storms and calmness, which is part of the ocean, gave me a lot of confidence in China's strength in economy. It shows that we are in the right way by investing a lot in China.
Although a foreign company, Bureau Veritas is glad to be participating in the Chinese economy and the global opening of China. China's reform and opening-up policies have greatly contributed to the company's development in China.
As of present, business in China accounts for about 20 percent of the company's total global revenue, but the percentage was less than 10 percent 10 years ago.
