5.1-magnitude quake hits Xichang in SW China: CENC

BEIJING - A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit Xichang in southwest China's Sichuan province at 4:29 pm Wednesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 19 km, was monitored at 27.7 degrees north latitude and 102.08 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
