Zhejiang gets new publicity chief

Zhu Guoxian, chief of the publicity department of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), has been appointed as a member of the standing committee of the CPC Zhejiang provincial committee, Zhejiang Daily reported on October 22.

He will succeed Ge Huijun to serve as the chief of the publicity department of the CPC Zhejiang provincial committee.

Ge is currently the chairwoman of the CPPCC Zhejiang provincial committee.

Zhu, a veteran journalist, previously worked as the Zhejiang bureau chief of Xinhua News Agency.
