High-speed train shines

The Fuxing bullet train entered into Chinese people's daily life in last June.

A foreigner praised China's high-speed train after he watched a viral online video that showed a coin balanced on a windowsill on a Fuxing train while it was running at 300 kilometers per hour.

To speed up the country's development, China launched high-speed trains. From the second half of 2004, China began to build Chinese brand of high-speed trains by importing advanced technology and joining hands with other countries to design and produce.

In 2007, China's Hexie bullet train with speed of 200 kilometers per hour rolled out. The country currently holds a series of core technologies in the locomotive manufacturing industry.

Chinese standards account for 84 percent of the 254 key standards used in the train, the People's Daily said.

On July 15, 2016, two Chinese trains running at world-record speeds of 420 kilometers per hour in opposite directions passed each other on parallel tracks.

The test provided key data to develop bullet trains with speeds higher than 400 kilometers per hour.

In June, China's first high-speed trains outbound order - the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway project - entered into fully implement stage. After the project is built, the world will closely feel China's strength in manufacturing.
