Sun Mengyao, a freshman who attended the activity, chose to imitate Message from the Sea created by John Everett Millais. She thinks he is the most talented painter in the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, and this painting is vivid and lifelike.
"Props are only one aspect. I think what is more important is feeling what the painter tried to express in order to better imitate," she said.
