Car-train collision kills 2, injures 3 in Northeast China

HARBIN -- A freight train collided on Sunday with a vehicle in Harbin, capital of Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, leaving two people dead and three injured, local authorities said Monday.
The accident occurred at 8 pm on Sunday at a level crossing in Acheng district of Harbin, according to the local government.
Rescuers rushed to the site immediately and the injured were taken to hospital. Investigation is still under way.
