Senior officials asked to stay loyal to Party

BEIJING -- Senior officials should stay loyal to the Party and willingly safeguard the authority of the Party's central leadership and the unity of the Party, said a communique issued after a key meeting Saturday.
The communique was issued after the Seventh Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, which was held from Oct. 11 to 14 in Beijing.
