As landscape oil paintings become more popular among artists and collectors, increasing numbers of painters are shifting their attention to this genre.
An exhibition featuring about 100 oil paintings themed "Sound of Nature" was held at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing from Aug 24 to 31.
The black mountains, grey clouds and bright orange sun on the canvas presented the emotion and feelings of the three generations of Chinese artists.
